The set method for attributes marked with this stereotype is implemented transactional, i.e. invoking this set method immediately commits the resulting object to the database, if performed outside of any other transaction.

If there is already a transaction active, the set method execution will be embedded, i.e. the commit takes place only after the surrounding transaction commits.
